Copper Eye Surgery

2020-present

A well-designed responsive website for a new Ophthalmology practice led by an expert cataract surgeon. Features a website, brand development, logo, SEO, content marketing, and Google Ads.

Copper Eye Surgery is led by Dr. Shaun Brierly, an Ophthalmologist who specializes in private pay cataract surgery. After relocating from California mid-career, Dr. Brierly built Copper Eye Surgery in Paradise Valley, AZ. Unique challenges were present as Copper Eye Surgery opted out of medical insurance whereby needing to educate the public on the benefits of working directly with a surgeon. A branding opportunity presented itself and we developed information around self-pay cataract surgery, how using insurance generally results in the same fees if upgraded lens implants are warranted, and education on why a patient would want to schedule a consultation with the surgeon directly.

Hundred Rubys began the project with two distinct website projects to meet the needs of the client. The first focused on the branding and positioning of content to educate patients, logo development, and a “quick” 5 pages so that the office could benefit from the digital web presence in early 2020 shortly before the COVID-19 pandemic. Following the launch, Hundred Rubys focused on expanding the content with highly educational information in Phase 2, began Google Ads, SEO optimization and reporting, and our trusted content blogging program.
